Maryann Paciullo
I was born and grew up in Bayonne, New Jersey. After graduating from Bayonne High School, I attended Saint John University in New York, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Administration.
During high school, I began working for the McDonald’s Restaurant in my hometown. I worked my way through college, and during my senior year received an internship with the New Jersey Nets NBA Basketball Team. After graduation I decided to continue working for McDonald’s.
I moved to California in the mid 1980’s and lived in the West San Fernando Valley. McDonald’s offered me ownership of my first McDonald’s Restaurant in 1994 in Tehachapi, Ca. I moved with my three children, Marie, Maureen and Mark Recalde and we opened the McDonald’s at 795 Tucker Road on Sept. 30, 1994. My second McDonald’s opened at Loves Travel Center in August of 2010. I have increased my organization to six McDonald’s restaurants in Kern County.
My children attended Golden Hills Elementary and Tehachapi High School. They were very involved in clubs and sports in Tehachapi and participated in TVRPD programs.
My love for sports and being involved in the community has brought me to serving on the Board of Directors for TVRPD, and it is an honor to be part of such an wonderful parks district.
