Regional Stay at Home Order

Effective December 5, 2020 at 12:59pm PST

  • All indoor playgrounds must close
  • Outdoor playgrounds may remain open to facilitate physically distanced personal health and wellness through outdoor exercise
  • Outdoor recreation facilities can remain open for individual household use
  • No overnight stays at campgrounds unless it is serving as place of residence or for essential travel
  • Gyms are allowed to be open outdoors as newly recognized “essential businesses”
  • Swimming pools can only be open for drowning prevention classes only
  • Youth sports are limited to drills and conditioning outdoors with members of their own household or one on one with a coach; all participants should be masked at all times (this is what we have been verbally told but is not reflected on the State’s website as of yet)

The order is in effect for a minimum of 3 weeks and may be extended or lifted as the State determines necessary.

Notwithstanding the initial direction from the State that playgrounds must close when the Regional Orders are triggered, the State has modified the language on their website to now allow outdoor playgrounds to remain open while the Regional Orders are in effect.

With respect to Brite Lake, overnight stays at campgrounds are not permitted unless it is serving as place of residence or for essential travel.

We will make another update when we receive more information.
