American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

Interested in a great summer job or challenging career as a professional lifeguard? Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, you’ll learn teamwork, rescue and surveillance skills, First Aid and CPR/AED and other skills you need to work as a professional lifeguard.

Successful completion results in a 2 year certification in Lifeguarding that includes First Aid, professional-level CPR and AED in one certificate. Digital Certificate available upon successful completion of coarse.

**PASSING CERTIFICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT WITH TVRPD**

Prerequisite
All students MUST complete the Lifeguard Pre-Assessment in order to attend full class:

  • 300 yard swim test
  • A 10 lb. brick test
  • Be able to tread water for 2 minute

Friday, May 21 – 3:30 - 8:30 PM
Saturday, May 22 – 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Cost: $150 Lifeguard Certification Class
