Picnic at Brite Lake

Request for Bids: Modular Steel Skatepark

Background

TVRPD’s Ollie Mountain Skatepark was the community’s only public skatepark. Built in the early 2000’s, the dilapidated, above-ground, wooden skatepark was deconstructed and removed in the fall of 2020. With its age and safety issues, it was time to move on. With that, TVRPD is seeking proposals to work with the District to build a new community skatepark utilizing grant monies from the State of California Per Capita Program in partnership with the City of Tehachapi.

Request for Proposals

Sealed bids for the Skatepark will be received at 490 West D Street, Tehachapi, CA 93561, until 3:00 PM local time on July 26, 2021, at which time submitted bids will be opened and considered. The lowest responsible bidder is anticipated to be awarded at a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
